Cecal Volvulus: A Report of a Challenging Case

Cecal volvulus represents a rare form of acute intestinal obstruction caused by an axial twist the terminal ileum, ascending colon, and cecum surrounding mesenteric pedicle. It is responsible for 1%-1.5% all cases in adults. Radiological imaging assists diagnosis cecal volvulus, particularly CT scan with contrast as gold standard both risk assessment. In this case report, we present challenging seen 75‑year‑old male patient multiple comorbidities who presented abdominal guarding/tenderness high WBC lactate, which evolved into septic shock. The purpose study to underline significance early effective treatment uncommon condition surgeries.
